This is a nonpaid volunteer role for beta testing.
Beta testers will take part in the ongoing development of our ASR (Automatic Speech Recognition) app, also known as speech-to-text, and share daily feedback to make it more accurate, accessible, and inclusive.
As a tester, you will use an early version of the app during everyday conversations and provide short, structured feedback over a three-week period. Your insights will help improve real-world accuracy, performance, and usability before public release.
We are committed to creating technology by the Deaf, for the Deaf.
Ideal candidates include:
Deaf and Hard of Hearing users
Late-deafened individuals
Cochlear implant users
Hearing aid users
Single-sided Deaf individuals
Anyone with hearing loss
What testing involves:
You will record brief daily notes about how the app performs in different situations, including:
Noise level and setting
Number of people present
Microphone distance or placement
Accuracy, delay, and ease of use
What worked, what did not, and suggestions for improvement
Your feedback will directly shape how this app serves the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community.
